Combining Practice, Education, and Science

HoofTrimmer is more than a hoof trimming service. It is a project that unites practical hoof care, research, and education. The goal is to make knowledge about equine biomechanics and hoof health accessible to owners and professionals.

Founded by Albert, a hoof trimming specialist with over 15 years of experience. During this time, more than 1,000 hooves have been trimmed, books and articles have been written, and an original methodology of vector hoof correction has been developed.

Practical work is carried out with horses of various breeds, disciplines, and training levels: from sport horses to ponies and donkeys. Every trimming session is tailored to the specific horse, its movement, living conditions, and the owner's goals.

School of Vector Hoof Correction

Based on years of accumulated experience, an original system for analyzing and correcting hoof shape has been developed. The School of Vector Hoof Correction is an educational program for those who want to understand biomechanics more deeply and make informed decisions about their horse's hoof health.

The program covers hoof anatomy, principles of equine biomechanics, the influence of living conditions on hoof shape, and practical methods for evaluation and correction.

Every Trimming Evaluates More Than Just Hoof Shape

Work revolves around the specific horse, not around a universal template.

  • Horse's movement
  • Age
  • Discipline
  • Living conditions
  • Ground surface quality
  • History of previous trimmings
  • Hoof growth rate
  • Changes since the last visit
